The TP-Link Kasa Smart Plug HS105 adds away mode (randomized on/off patterns) to the HS103 feature set for a security-through-simulation feature. It connects over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi with no hub required and works with Alexa and Google Home. Useful for simulating occupancy when away from home.
How to make it work
HomeBridge and the TplinkSmartHome plugin expose Kasa plugs to Apple Home.
You will need a compatible hub or bridge (see link below).
