The August Wi-Fi Smart Lock (4th Gen) is a retrofit deadbolt adapter with built-in Wi-Fi — no separate bridge needed for remote access. It supports DoorSense technology to detect whether the door is open or closed, auto-lock, and digital key sharing. Works with existing deadbolts and keys.
Full HomeKit integration — lock via Siri or the Home app and set automations. DoorSense status (open/closed) is also visible in the Home app.
